What a blast, last Friday took a trip south to explore the tourist trap known as Tombstone, AZ. On the way stopped at a little known ghost town Fairbank, AZ. Fairbank was the closest railroad station to Tombstone, AZ until 1901. The original residents of Fairbank believed that the property they resided on was subdivided homestead property. Little did they know that it was part of a land grant to the local railroad and the residents had to move away unless they worked for the railroad. Unfortunately most railroad workers in this time were migratory and the cemetery was no longer looked after as you will see in my pictures.
